SURGERY SUPPORT BAGS -- New Initiative!

Do you know of any woman in the community who is facing an upcoming surgery and could use a “support bag” to help her be more comfortable after her surgery? WISH would like to help in the recovery process for these ladies.

Simply email Katie at with the following information:

• Woman’s name & address.
• Type of surgery.
• Approximate date of surgery & arrival home (if known).
• Plus, any additional information to make the support bag more personal.

The support bag will include functional items that will help women feel more comfortable when they arrive home. These bags may include items such as special garments to hold drains if needed, dry shampoo, no-slip socks, a blanket, etc. Each bag will be personalized to the needs of the specific person. All information forwarded to WISH will remain anonymous and personal information will not be shared. We look forward to making a difficult time a bit easier and comfortable.
